Say A Little Prayer.

I came here today to post some dirty, funny conversation i had with a friend of mine and then something alot more important came up.

I saw a woman today as i was heading home from school,i was walking from my former hostel with my friend and i turned around and she caught my eye.She had some stuff all over her body and i just kept looking back to have a good look at her cause something wasn't normal about her. When she walked past us i noticed that she was covered with these huge dice-sized bumps, some where even bigger than a dice...from the top of her head to the sole of her feet. Some where even sticking from her hair.

She looked so frail and was struggling to walk.

How can someone live like this. You should have seen this woman to know why i just had to blog about it.Why i couldn't get it out of my mind.

It looked very horrid and i was moved to tears. But she doesn't need my pity, am sure that's what every other person has ever offered her.

What she needs are my prayers and i just urge everybody that takes the time to read this post to just say a little prayer for this woman.

You can tell God...to send his healing angels to heal the woman laide saw with bumps all over her body.To heal her from this ailment that's afflicting her.

How does she get about i asked myself.

No okada will carry her, neither will anyone want to sit near her in a bus cause no one knows how it's contracted so she has to walk all day and she's quite old..

She can't possibly by able to have a bath cause the bumps will be a hindrance...

it's sad quite sad and i know prayers will go a long way.

Yeah prayers will go a long way thatn pity. It's sad to see people like that and you think where is thier family? I'm sure she has one person that knows her and see her in that situation. Do what you gotta do and leave the rest to faith.

i agree with you on what you said about pity....a lot of people in conditions like that cannot STAND it when everyone is like "heya, heya" all the time. Nice blog and hey thanks for visiting my humble blog!

It's very thoughtful of you to offer prayers for this old woman. She needs help and compasson, not scorn. I agree wholeheartedly. I defintely will pray for this woman that is stricken wth ths strange ailment. Thanks for letting us know. Also thanks for dropping by my site.

Sounds to me she has leprosy in its formative stage... It is characterised by very large nodles (bumps) all over the body, feeling lethargic all the time, soreness of limbs (hands and feet)... Unfortunatly, even if she starts thaizide, the drug for leprosy, the nodles wont go...It's a scar that stays for life... Hum.. if she was diagnosed about a few yrs ago, the situation would have been salvaged.. Leprosy or full blow leprosy takes 5 years to materialise....

Lord help us!!
