Thoughts in my head since i last blogged.

first of all i have missed blogville and its inhabitants....so so much....and i want to thank everyone who left a comment on my last post...thnk u very much, ur words are the reason why i am back...and hopefully wont leave like that anymore.

Gosh its been a while…cant believe I haven’t written anything in like forever, well except the article I wrote a few days back…my imaginary interview with the dead Michael Jackson...for my column in Sound City’s Blast magazine…it just came to me, cause i had no idea what to write…but under an hour I had it all done and was quite pleased with myself..slowly but surely I am climbing out of the pit that is writer’s block.

Schools on strike, but am in school…home is blaaah…quite annoying actually…ever since my bro got a girlfriend that I think he’s actually into…we don’t really talk….he used to inspire most of my write-up’s..he’s like the funniest person I know..u think am funny u should meet my brother…my dad’s acting up not talking to anybody so we don’t yarn except good morning and all..mumcy is still her ever screaming-dramatic self and I cant shout I tell u…so I pretty much avoid her at all times, my other brother is in another state…and our house girl Tina…frankly I just want to strangle her anytime I see her…so u pretty much know how I feel about her …and rooney..well he just barks all day and annoys the hell out of me and sometimes I just wanna go out and give him a good smacking and then I remember he’s a mutt and I don’t want to be featured on the next episode of “when good animals go bad” did I mention I cant shout?…plus Nepa hasn’t changed their shitty ways ..and DSTV is sorta blaah nowadays..internet connection’s expired cause no one is home…home is like my favorite place to be… but it is sort of not it for me right now…so I had to go back to school..not like school’s any better but id rather be there right now than home…

The bad thing about being in school during a strike is that you spend money like a dunce…I mean boredom does strange things to your pocket…….i mean its not my fault…I mean those accessories where to die for…they were calling my name…they were tormenting me day and night…screaming Laide! Laide! Buy me u accessories addict you! I mean those poor lonely accessories I couldn’t leave them without a home..and I really needed those bell bottom jeans cause I loved the last one I had but I tore it when I was trying to scale our fence (long story)…and that top and those leggings I’ve been dying to get and a gurl can never have too many undies now, can she?...how could I say no…the fact that theirs a bloody tradefair in my school everyday for the past four weeks isn’t helping matters..
Theres also the matter of watching movies...i know I shouldn’t watch too many movies at the cinema but boredom…I tell u..it makes u do crazy things you shouldn’t…like watch 1or 2 movies per week…makes you buy credit to browse on your fone, and call all your horny boy ‘friends’ at 8:00am in the morning and play funny moaning sounds for them over the phone and have a good laugh with your roommates at their reaction..makes you show your roommate the purple glittery vibrator your friend bought for you recently and watch them freak out as you chase them with it…makes you gossip about the girls in A block who always have somewhere to go every friggin day, and their scandalous outfits and ashawo heels…not that they are ashawo’s just aristo girls…but whats the difference? Makes you spend money stupidly at café’s just so you could feed your facebook addiction…..

For the past three weeks since the strike started I have eaten nothing but indomie and egg and bread and butter..occasionally when I just want to have something different maybe garri and suya…and maybe once in a blue moon rice and stew, beans and bread, bread and acara or maybe spaghetti….gosh I swear I must have eaten like 500,000 naira worth of indomie since I entered the university of Lagos..Now spare me the lectures…”u r a gurl cant u go to the market,,,balderdash’….u no hear sey money no dey..transport to market like 150, to cook small stew sef you go spend like 600..plus meat o…because I no fit eat food wey no get meat…and other ingredients..…stew wey go finish when you and roommates pounce on am….who get 600 naira to dey spend every two two days… but if you buy two indomies 70 bucks, 1 egg 30 bucks and maybe sardine/cornbeef….u r home and dry plus it doesn’t take long to cook…..thats the lure of indomie so no matter how tired I am of it…it’s the only thing I can eat right now except I go into campus…and that’s just long thing…the day we ate bread and beans ehn….it was a wonderful day..omowale ‘hipsdontlie’ lawal God bless you for cooking that treat…as in finally something different..and beans again..my favourite food…one morning when hunger dey fire us….we ran to one of my roomies house wey far like that….we never even baff o! ok I had my bath but they didn’t(smelling girls)...just to eat morrin food….na so the hunger they do us….the way we pounce on the bread and stew at her crib ehn her mother was shocked and gave us enough food stuffs to take back…na im my roommates come dey form o..because one carry cooler and the other one carry food stuffs inside bagco super sack I con dey tasi dem for bus sey…pls how much is your meat? and shey u don dey sell cement..can u imagine dese crase girls won drop food sey dem no carry again..sey shame dey cash dem…in dis critical no food/money having time…if I dash both of una blow…I sha help am carry the small cooler..u know sey me I no dey kuku send anybody mama.whish one consain me wit if fine boy c me dey carry cooler…e no go better for fine boi…

To entertain myself I listen to the gists from my roomies..now me and another roomie are the oldest in my room..the rest are in their teens, and you know teenagers and bois…so its nice to listen to them coo and gush at being toasted..us old mama’s that have been there, done that, gotten the t-shirt and probably have some experience just look and smile…and remember when we were so young and naïve and had butterflies in our tummies….ah! the good ol days..till some degenerate scumbag came along and dashed our romantic dreams….not that it might play out the same way for them..but its just fun listening to their gists of who toasted them…and insulting the different boys/men that approach them…some men no get shame sha…dey chase small small gurls and these gurls are actually good/nice girls from good homes but they r not mugu’s, they have these men buying them stuff…these set of like five teens are also caught up with fine boys..they have caught the fine-boys bug….we all loved fine boys till we found out there’s more to it than looks but they are getting there and I am trying my best to lead them in the right path, not that I know the way myself..but I dey try small…try to keep them perverts *coughs* qube the wordsmith *coughs* chiago*coughs* with their grubby hands away from them…lol..

A lot has happened with me and my boyfriend, but I guess it makes the relationship stronger…a lot of mistakes..there have been some bumps here and there and alot of other stuff…but it happens..the real test is getting over it and moving on….alot of people say stuff about the relationship, they act like they know what’s best for you, but i know what i want and why I am in it so they don’t really matter..

Michael Jaskin…lol..like me n my roomies call him..that was sad…really sad….i was a fan…listened to him growing up, he was weird and all…but I didn’t mind that….just hope he has found the peace that has long eluded him…

You make miss me school days! I have missed your funny stories. I know I will jam you somewhere soon.

Things should have improved at home by now. Students and Indomie! The relationship should enter Guiness Book of records.

Welcome back.

**And we missed you too.

**I can't wait to read the next edition of S'city Blast.

**Pls, don't get me started on the goddamned strike.

**LOL @ "when good animals go bad" & "buy me, you accessories addict"

**...horny boyfies; moaning sound; glittery vibrator; ashawo heels... This is one of the MANY reasons why I've missed you. Who else has interesting stories like this?

**Indomie? Yuck!! I refused to be jazzed by that evil stuff. I hate the taste. I feel you on bread & beans, garri & suya. Heavenly - and cheap too.

Omo, Enough said. Glad you're back.
